Chris Weir holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Southern Methodist University. He earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 2007.

Since entering the business valuation industry in 2004, Mr. Weir has performed a wide range of complex valuation engagements for entities from small private companies to multibillion‑dollar enterprises. He brings deep expertise in estate and gift tax planning, employee stock ownership plans, business combination analysis (ASC 805), stock option valuation (IRC 409A), goodwill impairment testing (ASC 350), fairness and solvency opinions, merger and acquisition planning, management planning, litigation support, and marital dissolution.

His experience spans diverse industries including agribusiness, construction, consumer products, distribution, energy, healthcare, manufacturing, real estate, technology, hedge funds, and other specialized sectors.

Outside the office, Mr. Weir enjoys quality time with his wife and two children and pursues his interests in golf and travel. He also remains actively involved in professional organizations such as the CFA Society of Dallas/Fort Worth, ESOP Association, and the Dallas Estate Planning Council.
