Jacob R. Torgerson holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of North Texas. During his undergraduate studies, he served as a Senior Analyst with the G. Brint Ryan College of Business’ Student Investment Group, where he conducted equity research for the college’s endowment fund.

Since entering the business valuation industry in 2022, Mr. Torgerson has performed valuation engagements for entities ranging from small private companies to multimillion‑dollar enterprises. His work includes estate and gift tax planning, employee stock ownership plans, mergers and acquisitions, and management planning. His industry experience spans construction, professional services, and various niche sectors. Prior to joining Katzen Marshall, Mr. Torgerson worked at Sandler Law Group, where he reviewed and prepared residential mortgage loan documentation.

Outside the office, Mr. Torgerson is an avid marathon runner and enjoys staying active through sports and travel.
